I’d love to go to a writers colony. What a dream! Maybe when my kids are grown…
I’ve been looking forward to 17 & Gone. It sounds deliciously suspenseful. I know it will also be beautiful because I’ve read Nova’s writing. She;s amazing. Can’t wait for it.
So, I’m totally in love with that woodsy cabin with the snow. That’s completely and utterly the best writing space I could think of. Like I’m actually still staring at it in another window. The cold air, the snow, the trees. Nova is so lucky to have been able to work there, especially to get away from the little NYC apartment. I couldn’t imagine trying to work in a tiny space like that.
I’m so jealous!!! I wish my view included the Empire State Building!!
I love the variety of writing spaces that Nova has! 😀 I especially like the Writer’s Room. I like the idea of having such a snug space, in a busy city.
I wish I could go to a writers’ retreat! The closest I can get is NaNoWriMo, lol. The idea of this tour is great. I love seeing a writer’s life up close, it inspires me 🙂
I love how diverse Nova’s writing spaces are. She proves that you don’t have to have a room of one’s own, at least not anymore, to write.
[…] was going to write about a different topic today but I got distracted by this instead. Go ahead, click it. If you’re still skeptical here’s a description of the site […]
So beautiful! It would be so much fun to write in those places! 🙂
I really love the little house in the snowy mountains.. it’s soooo cute and I would love to stay someplace like that. I also love the view of the city out the window, I could get lost for hours just daydreaming out that window.
Great post and always so interesting to see how and where authors work. Thanks!
The first picture is my favorite because I feel like to write a book you should be surrounded by books. 🙂
I love that little cabin in New Hampshire. It looks like something out of a movie. Either a rom-com or a horror movie – not sure!
This was pretty cool, I enjoyed the “peek” into a writer’s life. The little cabin made me sigh, I would love to go somewhere like that to write!
I loved the Omicron cabin at MacDowell!
Oh wow! The different writers’ communities sound awesome. I love how you don’t just have one writing space but several!
[…] my favorite café, and my beautiful writing space overlooking lower Broadway. Check out my In Search of the Write Space post on Meagan Spooner’s site, and be sure to enter the giveaway… I think you have just one day […]
This series is absolutely amazing. I love seeing the spaces where authors write, and Nova’s spaces are extraordinarily wonderful (at least to me!).

Okay, those writers’ retreats look so awesome! This was one of the most interesting Write Space posts so far. Probably because she writes ALL OVER the place! 🙂
I like the view out the Writers Room window, breathtaking. It would take my mind of my troubles, if only foe a few minutes.
Nova’s writing spaces–both at the writer’s colonies and in NYC–are exactly what I envision when someone actually says “writing space.” Lucky girl. And awesome author, too. 🙂
I can’t wait for this book and i love all the pictures and different places her writing seems to take her in her life! The pictures are amazing with how you see her work space and the little cabin in the trees with the snow. Makes me want to go there.
Heck, the MANSION! It’s epic! And I could totally see that being an amazing place for creative writing! Can I hop in your suitcase next time you go? 😀
