Oh, look! All three of us have – nearly – the same names! 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing this, you two. Megan, your home looks extremely cozy, and all those books on your bookshelves are making me jealous! I can totally imagine working in this kind of environment – it’s close to perfect. And have I mentioned that Boone looks ADORABLE?
Awesome post! It was nice to see how authors work-spaces look like. haha. 🙂 I’m really looking forward to THE MADMAN’S DAUGHTER, too, so this giveaway is practically a dream-come-true.
I absolutely love this room, especially the chaise lounge! I can’t wait for The Madman’s Daughter to be released – so exciting! Congrats, Megan!
The futon/sofa-ish area would definitely be my favorite place to write because I am a huge fan of comfort. But of course there is that little issue of falling asleep while trying to work.
Wow, Megan! I love every photo you have shown us, in particular your bookcase and the lovely Biltmore Estate photos. I love the diversity of books you have! Wow, Ready Player One and Dexter and Louise Erdrich…so cool. I have an ARC of The Madman’s Daughter, it’s the next book I’m reading. (but it’s digital, so I’m dying for a printed copy) Thanks for the giveaway!
I think my favorite pictures are always the bookshelves, because I love comparing titles and such. However, I did love the coffee shop pic! It looks most interesting!
The last one is my favorite… need to say more? It’s a castle *____* <3
Thanks for the giveaway xD
SO excited for this book. The Chaise lounge is my favorite!!!
Everything about these spaces brings a smile to my face – the chaise lounge and the walk at the BIltmore Estate, especially. Thanks so much for sharing! Can’t wait to read the Madman’s Daughter…
I love the picture of the bookshelf! Tons of fantastic books!
Love your book shelf. I have read or listened to most of those same books. I especially love listening to the Dexter books.
Thanks for the opportunity to win your ARC and congratulations on your first published book.
Amazing! I love the idea of going for a walk on the Biltmore Estate. It certainly seems like an incredibly inspirational place.
That coffee shop looks amazing! I’m always jealous when writers from North Carolina (like Steph Perkins and Myra McEntire) talk about their favorite spots. I’ll have to visit someday 🙂
Congratulations fellow Megan! And thanks (other-fellow-spelled-slightly-differently) Meagan!
I just moved from the Asheville area and can see how the Biltmore can me very inspiring. Congrats on your debut!
I love to see the area an author dedicates to writing! I find it interesting. I adore all the images, but it must be amazing to walk around Biltmore Estate.!
Ahh! Perfect giveaway! Thank you so so much for the chance. <3 I have read this book. And it was PERFECT. But oh. A signed ARC! I want that so so so much. <3 (as I only read an eARC) And omg. Megan is just so kind and adorable. <3 Thank you both for this amazing post 🙂 Love the bookshelf the most. Graceling! Fire! Bitterblue! Shadow and Bone! So much love. <3
Love, Carina
Love all of your writing space options! Nothing gets the words flowing better for me than being someplace other than my tiny apartment.
I am so happy I stumbled across this author spotlight! I loved this post – it’s such a great way to see what inspires author’s and get a glimpse into their writing space. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Definitely your office picture! I love how you pasted pictures and notes onto your window and how organised it is 🙂 I’m not sure why but it just really inspires me to want to start writing again haha
Pictures of bookshelves are always my favorite ones. I love to snoop and see what books are there, compare them with mine, etc.
Thanks for a giveaway, dying to read this one! 🙂
I love that last picture. I would love to have a place like that nearby. How could it not be inspirational?
