Ask A Question (#6): When is the sequel to SKYLARK coming out?

So far, this is the most commonly asked question of all! I’m so glad so many of you are excited for the sequel to SKYLARK. Seriously, it makes my day!

Kayla B. asked, “I just read SKYLARK and loved it! Was wondering when the other books of the trilogy might become available.”

(This question or a variation thereof was also asked by Jessica A., Bookwyrm16, Lexie F., and others!)

Now that the cover has been revealed, I can share a lot more info about SHADOWLARK, the sequel to SKYLARK! Before the cover reveal, everything had to be kept under wraps because all that info was going to come out at once, when the Lerner fall catalog went out.

To answer your question, the U.S. release date for SHADOWLARK is October 1, 2013! This will likely also be the Australian release date, or very close to it. As for the U.K. release date, we don’t have one yet, but I suspect it will be early 2014. (Likewise, for the other international markets, we have no official release dates yet, but they are likely to be approximately a year after the release of SKYLARK!)

As for the third and final book in the trilogy, there’s no official release date set for it yet. That said, we’re on track for it to come out a year following SHADOWLARK. So if I had to guess, I’d say it’ll be coming October 1, 2014. But don’t hold me to that, because anything could happen!
